She is the Founder and Managing Director of ConceptSpring, which provides strategic product development consulting services to executives and leaders of product teams. She is also a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she teaches entrepreneurship, primary market research, and leadership development in startup settings. Elaine has served at the VP level in engineering and product management at several startups, including Rethink Robotics, Zeo, Zeemote and SensAble Technologies. Chuck is an experienced executive with 20+ years of experience in executive leadership, enterprise application development, mobility and biometrics platforms. Prior to Great Hill Partners, Chuck founded Apperian in 2009, and has spent the past five years working with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Bessemer Venture Partners, North Bridge Venture Partners, and Intel Capital to build Apperian into a market leader in Mobile Application Management (MAM) product space. As Apperian's founder and CEO, Chuck raised $32 million in venture capital, led the strategy and development of Apperian's award winning platform, and built a close-knit mobile ecosystem of developers, brands, retailers, enterprises and integrators. Prior to Apperian, Chuck was a Director at Apple, managing both enterprise and education professional services and system engineering. There, he led the launch of the iPhone in 2007 into the enterprise and managed Apple's iPhone Enterprise Beta Program working closely with Fortune 500 CIOs to think beyond the Blackberry and into the App world. Barbara Donohue, Principal, Turning Technology into English, http://www.the-engineer-who-writes.com. Barbara is an engineer who operates at a technically oriented communications consultancy. John Wang, Founder and General Manager of UCB Support, www.ucbsupport.com. John is an automotive design expert and entrepreneur with 18 years of product development experience at companies including General Motors and Johnson Controls. His designs and patents have been widely applied to GM, Ford and Chrysler automobiles.
Since 2008, John has started a several companies. He is the Founder and General Manager of UCB Support, a consulting company that provides service to small/medium-sized product companies. In 2009, he co-founded and served as CTO of Wiselink Technology, where he built the engineering division and developed leading connected-car platform products from concept to production for customers included VW’s China JV and China Mobile. In 2012, John founded Dreamech, a start-up company providing technology service to connect car owners and their cars via Internet to auto service experts. John also volunteers as Vice President of NECINA. His education includes MBA (Michigan), MSME and BSME.
