Protecting Your Intellectual Property

Back to Calendar Directions to the meeting Cost and Times

Meeting Overview:

Protecting intellectual property-patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyright-is of vital interest to investors, entrepreneurs, customers, suppliers, and strategic partners. In today's highly litigious US environment, what steps must entrepreneurs take from the very beginning to protect their Intellectual Property (IP)? How can companies establish a foundation for the strongest defense against future attacks from competitors? What are the best practices that may limit the loss of their IP to former employees and to others who acquire detailed knowledge of the company's products and services? Tonight's highly experienced panel of litigators and IP attorneys will discuss what you need to know to protect your valuable IP assets, including patent and trade secret protection and litigation, using provisional patent applications, and the importance of protecting trademarks and copyright.
