Panel:

Jim Lippie is Chief Executive Officer of Thrive Networks. Under Jim’s leadership, Thrive was named the 6th fastest growing, privately held company in the Greater Boston area by the Boston Business Journal, and the 15th fastest growing, privately held company in 2005. Jim’s team-based sales approach increased Thrive’s sales by 43% and was featured in Inc. Magazine.

Jim is a published author and sits on the Board of Directors for the Sean McDonough Charitable Foundation. Jim received both his Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Boston University.

Dr. Louis Kronfeld is CTO for Advanced Lumitech, Inc, dba Brightec, Inc. Located in Natick, MA, Brightec manufactures the world's first photographic quality, glow-in- the-dark print media for both retail and commercial markets. In addition to his manufacturing and technical responsibilities, Louis is deeply involved in Brightec’s overall business strategy and marketing activities.

Throughout his career, Louis has specialized in coupling technology and markets. He has over 35 years of executive experience for both large, international companies as well as small, entrepreneurial ventures. He has served on the Boards of several industry associations. Louis holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Rice University and an MBA from Pace University.

Bill Baukus is Director, Technology Development for American Science and Engineering, Inc., an X-ray based security inspection company located in Billerica, Mass. Bill joined AS&E; in 1999, after having served in technical and business development positions at Sanders, (now BAE Systems) and the MITRE Corporation. His work at AS&E; focuses on creating and directing technology-based research and development, as well as providing technical guidance and expertise.

Bill has both a Bachelor�s and a Master�s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where he also taught engineering courses.

Moderators:

Lisa A. Maini is Principal of myMarketingManager (mMM), a full service marketing outsourcing firm with a proven track record of developing effective, multi-level marketing programs for small to mid-sized companies and start-ups. Their clients represent multiple vertical markets including: technology, commercial real estate, healthcare, finance and legal services.

Lisa has published several marketing articles, lectures part-time and serves as a Board member for several industry associations and non-profit organizations. She received a M.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD and B.A. with Honors from McGill University, Montreal, PQ.

Fausto Molinet is the President of Matrix Internationale a market research and business strategy consulting group with partners in Boston, Chicago, Melbourne, and Metzingen, Germany. Matrix Internationale assists companies to understand the dynamics of their markets and helps them to form strategies to address them. Fausto co-founded the Boston Entrepreneurs� Network in 1991.
