Meet-Up - Networking, Discussion and Wine

Please join us for our inaugural Meetup on Wednesday evening, May 16, in the Boston Innovation District near the Boston waterfront and Financial District. This Meetup is co-sponsored by one of ENET'S annual sponsors, the prestigious patent law firm Wolf Greenfield (www.wolfgreenfield.com). They will be providing wine and snacks. Come meet with us in their facility starting at 6:30 pm. Registration is via http://www.meetup.com/Boston-IEEE-Entrepreneurs-Network/ , not through the ENET website. Please include your full name and email address when registering. Registration by 9:00 am Wednesday, May 16, is mandatory. Building security will not admit late registrants or walk-ins into the building. Please remember, registration closes at 9:00 am.

We will select a topic that night, and your suggestions are welcome at the door. Possible topics include:

• intellectual property (when, how and why);
• prototyping and sourcing (how to get that job done);
• agreements and intellectual property to protect confidentiality (realistic expectations);
• negotiation (of founding agreements, sales contracts, employment contracts, funding sources).

If you have a suggestion -- or a current problem -- please email it via the Meetup site. Our organizer for the evening, Melissa, will add it to the list, and try to have a knowledgeable resource person in attendance.

Regular participation in this group (planned to meet bi-monthly ) will bring an added benefit of establishing good relationships with people you can tap into when issues arise for input, ideas and options. Please invite other entrepreneurs, business people and problem solvers!
