The Entrepreneurial Minute

The Entrepreneurial Minute, (eMinute) provides early stage companies with a forum to present their business challenge directly to angel investors, venture capital firms, service providers and potential partners in attendance at ENET's monthly networking meeting.

Are you trying to raise capital? Protect your IP? Build your Board? Develop a business plan? Launch a new product?

The Entrepreneurial Minute, (eMinute) is an innovative program by the Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network designed to help early stage companies overcome the challenges of growing a successful business. The eMinute opportunity provides early stage companies with a forum to present their business challenge directly to angel investors, venture capital firms, service providers and potential partners in attendance at ENET's monthly networking meetings. eMinutes are also included in the following month’s eMinute “email blast.”

How it Works. Each month, one or two entrepreneurs will be selected to give a 1-minute (250 words) overview of their concept and business challenge. The overview should include:

  • name and location of business
  • experience of entrepreneur and management team
  • target market need
  • product or service solution
  • business challenge to providing solution
  • the assistance your company is seeking (ex. capital, services, partners, etc.).

You do not need to be an ENET or IEEE member to benefit from eMinute!

Entrepreneurs will be prescreened by ENET and deemed to have a legitimate need prior to presenting

Please send a 250 word draft of your pitch to Satish Mantripragada at [email protected]. Include your: phone number and best time to call you back. Updated drafts for accepted eMinutes and one PowerPoint slide (on our format) need to be received by Satish Mantripragada by 5:00 pm on Thursday of the week prior to ENET's monthly meeting. Earlier, however, is better.
